In addition, the favorite study abroad destinations for American students are China and Japan, two countries located in Asia. However, the number of American students here is only about 8,000-11,000 per year.

Australia is the eighth country in the US student favorite ranking. Each year, Australia welcomes about 10,000 American students. Compared to non-English-speaking European countries such as Italy, Spain, France and Germany, this number is arguably much more modest.

The only representative of America is Costa Rica, ranked 10th in the list. Every year, about 8,000 American students come here to study. Although not highly regarded in countries with top education, the best school is the University of Costa Rica only ranked 822 in the world, this Central American country still attracts American students thanks to many majestic landscapes, worth exploring.
